Silverex cream 25GM contains Silver Sulfadiazine 1% w/w which is used in the treatment of burns. It is applied on the burnt skin from getting infected. It is is an antibiotic. It stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication. That is, Silverex is a topical broad-spectrum antimicrobial medicine used for the treatment of minor burns, scalds, scratches, cuts, abrasions, sunburns blisters, and infected cracked skin.

Silverex Cream 25Gm is composed of two drugs: Sulfadiazine (antibiotic) and Chlorhexidine (antiseptic). Sulfadiazine is used to treat or prevent severe infection on areas of skin with second or third-degree burns. It shows the bactericidal (kills bacteria) effect on many gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria and is effective against yeast.

Chlorhexidine is an antiseptic that shows bacteriostatic (stops the reproduction of bacteria) and bactericidal activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is also effective against yeast and cleans the affected areas by killing harmful microbes.

How to use Silverex Cream 25gm
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Precautions
