REXE-DINE MOUTHWASH 100ML

Description

REXE-DINE MOUTHWASH 100ML treats of infected, inflammatory conditions of the mouth and pharynx including stomatitis, gingivitis, aphthous ulcers, pharyngitis, tonsilitis.

Composition:

• Active substance: Povidone Iodine B.P 1% w/v
• Broad-spectrum microbicide.
• For use on the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat.

Indications:

• For the treatment of infected, inflammatory conditions of the mouth and pharynx including stomatitis, gingivitis, aphthous ulcers, pharyngitis, tonsilitis, monilial infections, common colds and influenza.
• As a prophylactic during and after surgery e.g. After tonsillectomy and dental procedures.
• Routine use to promote oral hygiene.

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of any allergy, who are taking other medications, premature infants, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

For external use only.

Avoid contact with eyes, ears, and mouth; if the medication is accidentally swallowed nausea and stomach upset may occur.

Side Effects

 Skin sensitivity, irritation of eye, mucosal irritation and staining of the teeth and tongue, anaphylaxis reactions with skin rash, itch, generalized swelling, breathing difficulties, light headedness, rapid heart rate, upset stomach or diarrhea.
