MELACARE CREAM 15G

Melacare Cream 15g is a combination of medicines that are used to treat melasma (dark brown patch on skin). Melasma also known as chloasma or mask of pregnancy, is a common skin condition that causes brown patches on the face. It is more common in women than in men. The discolored (grey-brown) patches occur mostly on the forehead, chin, nose, and cheeks.. It helps in quick skin renewal. It provides relief from redness, swelling and itching.

Melacare cream contains 3 active ingredients namely Tretinoin 0.025% w/w, Hydroquinone 2% w/w, and Mometasone Furoate 0.1% w/w. It is indicated for the gradual bleaching of hyperpigmented skin conditions such as melasma, freckles, senile lentigines and other unwanted areas of melanin hyper-pigmenation.

• Hydroquinone belongs to the class of skin lightening agents that works by decreasing the amount of melanin (a skin pigment) that is responsible for the darkening of the skin.
• Mometasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling.
• Tretinoin belongs to the class of retinoids (man-made vitamin A) that works by increasing the renewal of skin cells, which helps in the natural exfoliation of the skin’s outer layers. 

How to use Melacare Cream 15g

This medicine is for external use only.
Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.

Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream.
Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
