When you have diarrhoea you lose more fluid and electrolytes than you normally would, which can make you dehydrated. They can be used by both adults and children.

Dosage:

Adults and children Over 12 Years: Up to two sachets to be dissolved in a large glass of water (up to 400ml for two sachets) and drink it all, after each loose motion.

Children 1 to 12 Years: One sachet to be dissolved in a large glass of water(200ml) and drink it all., after each loose motion.

Infants 3 Months to 1 Year: Give one to one and a half times the usual feed volume in 24 hours under close medical supervision. If drinking water is not available or the medication is for an infant then freshly boiled and cooled water must be used.
