Description

Cartigard Capsule is used for Osteoarthritis, Joint pain due to arthritis, Swelling due to arthritis, Stiffness due to arthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Cataract surgery, Urinary tract infections and other conditions. Cartigard Capsule may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. Cartigard Capsule contains Chondroitin and Glucosamine as active ingredients.

Cartigard Capsule is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

Side-effects

Precautions
Before using Cartigard Capsule, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
Ask your doctor about reliable Chondroitin brands, since some products contain excess amount of manganese
Asthma
Blood clotting disorders
Consult your doctor if you are diabetic or taking heparin
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
If you have history of high cholesterol or triglycerides, cancer, liver disease, asthma or breathing disorder
Prostate cancer

When not to use Cartigard Capsule
Hypersensitivity to Cartigard Capsule is a contraindication. In addition, Cartigard Capsule should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Allergic reaction
Diabetes
Hypersensitivity
