Combizol T 300 mg/200 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Metronidazole and Norfloxacin. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Norfloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Together, they treat your infection effectively. How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Combizol T 300 mg/200 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Precautions
Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you have any problems with your liver or kidneys. Also, tell your doctor if you are on any medication for any health condition. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult with the doctors before taking it. Avoid drinking alcohol as it can cause excessive dizziness with this medicine. When you have diarrhoea you lose more fluid and electrolytes than you normally would, which can make you dehydrated. They can be used by both adults and children.
Dosage:
Adults and children Over 12 Years: Up to two sachets to be dissolved in a large glass of water (up to 400ml for two sachets) and drink it all, after each loose motion.
Children 1 to 12 Years: One sachet to be dissolved in a large glass of water(200ml) and drink it all., after each loose motion.
Infants 3 Months to 1 Year: Give one to one and a half times the usual feed volume in 24 hours under close medical supervision. If drinking water is not available or the medication is for an infant then freshly boiled and cooled water must be used.

PRECAUTIONS
Granid 500 mg Tablets may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
It may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Granid tablets should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.
Dose adjustment may be needed.
